With the Parent Portal upgrade on OSM, the waiting list gains some cool features:

Parent Portal settings

The waiting list Parent Portal settings work exactly the same exactly the same as the other sections (e.g. the email upgrade, etc.), except for the "Waiting List joining form" bit

To access the Parent Portal settings go to:

Settings > Parent Portal Settings > Waiting List Joining Form

The Waiting List Form allows parents to input their young person's details to automatically get added to the Waiting List. It looks like this below for parents:

In the settings, you are able to copy the link from here to add to a website or suchlike. 

You can also edit the 'Thank you' email template which gets emailed to Parents after they sign up.

Below, you can edit the details that are available for parents to add, and if they are required or optional.

By selecting the young person/people in the Personal Details page, you can send a series of automated requests to parents:
